This is my Grandfather (1/2 Native American Indian - HUPA/KAROK Tribes) - this means that I am 1/8 Native American Indian traced back and recorded back to before 1828. My other ancestors (Irish, French, English, Norwegion, and German) go back to my maternal Grandmother's grandparents being citizens of the USA. And I am a Grandmother, so that is 7 generations on my mother's side who were born in this country. SO, in view of all of the new-comers to the USA, my roots are solid in the USA - I AM a NATIVE of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. But my "HOME" is far, far away where my brother is and my grandfather and father is and an aunt and an uncle and so many others. This world is becoming so bleak and dark. My children are all adults and facing the problems and troubles that grown-ups have to deal with. But, they are pretty much over "the hump" in that they seem to now be settling down. Heaven will soon get sweeter, because my natural parents have passed on and Mom's husband of her last 36 yrs or so, is in poor health and kind of doing a daily "waiting in the airport for their 'flight' to arrive to take them 'home' ordeal". I call him 1-3x daily and listen to his every word as I did when Mom was alive because he too is "Glory Land Bound" and I miss Mom terribly already. It had been since 1997 since I have seen them and it looks to be that it was the last time. I love them dearly and want them to be healthy and free of pain and suffering, even if it does mean for God to take them "home" to be with THEIR "ancestors", as He finally did with Mom and one day will with Daddy. I am not depressed over this. At the moment of conception when LIFE starts, so does DEATH's timer also start. Only God knows when the "alarm" will sound when it is "time" to "shut down" and "go to sleep" and not "wake up" again. I believe personally that we each have a living spirit, soul, ghost, being, thinker, central processor,"little light". I believe it belongs to a much larger community of light. However, if the person does not accept the Light and JOY that the LIGHT gives then, I believe that a time comes when a person for whatever reason dies, that light is quenched forever. But, I believe that if the person was a believer in the Light, the person's Light will NEVER go out entirely. It may be transfered here and there, But, it WILL live forever!

As I have aged, parents passed on, phone calls to Daddy (step), kids grown, grandkids by birth or step, and a beloved Companion - I've learned a lot. I've learned it's ok to be me. I've learned to allow others to me themselves and let God form them and change them if He so wants to. I've learned to laugh alot and pray alot. God bless you! HUGZ !! :)
